Paddle Boarding Lake Ngatu

ON Tuesday me and my class went to lake Ngatu for paddle Boarding and we walked full the track to the lake and the groups went on the paddle boarding and we went in the deep spot and we got to jump off the boarding and then we got to have a Free swim. 

   

TE WHARE TUI CAMP 2019

This is a google slides presentation about our camp experience.

My camp highlight was when we went down the water slide, kayaking and the slippery hockey. When I was trying to get the ball I had a red stick and I was slipping everywhere. I liked the water slide because you go down so fast and I was nervous but then it was fun. Then we went to have some lunch and it was yummy and delicious lunch.

Today on November the 7th we went on a great adventure to Te Ahu to watch our film and some other schools films. I was so exited to see myself on the big screen. I was a bully. Our short film  was called Mum's School. We were laughing at the other school's films and it was fun.

The First Rugby Ball SJ Pt 1 No.2 2011

WALT increase our vocabulary by understanding interesting and tricky words in the text.

The first rugby ball was made from a pigs bladder in the early 1800's. A bladder is a thing that hold people pee.A inflated in the same way as you  blow up a balloon.A stem to blow up a pigs bladder. Now they make rugby balls using synthetic material because it is safer and the rugby balls are more durable means it lasts for a long time ( Whaea Dab).

RUGBY WORLD CUP2019

In Te Manga We being learning about The Rugby World Cup. 

My country is Tonga and the capital city is Nuku'alofa, the main language is Tongan and the biggest religion in Tonga is Protestantism.

Yesterday we had a rugby world cup dress up day. I Dressed in blacks for the all Blacks.

THE DUFFY AND SCRUFFY ASSEMBLY

Last Friday it was Te Manga and Te Tinana  Assembly and their was Duffy and Scruffy. She was yelling Duffy Duffy Duffy Duffy!!!!!!. Said shush Scruffy we are in a Libray and Maui and his people came the coot sun and they let the sun go up and they did their cool move back the sun and they let the sun go and they did a cool move then it was the nonfiction and I was happy not scary and I was holding a Netball and I did a cool move to the first so I can took to you then we went back to my sooty and harry potters they had their woody

They were wording it a up and down and everyone was dressed it was the Duffy song.                      

THE HARE AND TORTOISE NZ Play House

Today we went in to the whare it was the NZ Playhouse to performed and it is a show and everyone was lathing because these girl was making people lathing when  the show stated the show these were Biscuit boy and the hea they are having a race hea he win the race and hea was being a smarty pants to Biscuit Boy sad because hea he was being smarty and the Biscuit Boy was saying I was the win then we ast some wost.

My group is Koda and liv Riley and Edward.

We are going to make spaghetti bolognese. Our recipe need olive oil,onion,carrots beef stock salt, pepper. The equipment we will use a chopping board, knife and pot, chopping board.

The Amazing Water Facts

We are learning all about water this term. We have already found out some amazing water facts! Charlie and I did water facts video and it was easy and fun.

The Lion King Movie - First Draft

Yesterday me and my class went to The Lion King movie and we and the Girls were wearing headband look like lions and we had Popcorn and Drinks when the Movies Started I was so excited to see all of the Charters and all of the setting .At the Start of the movie Rafiki Cimbs  up pried rock and holds Simba up in the Air when Simba is older he goes to a Crack in the Middle of the Pried lands that's where all Lion go to find there roar .But there was a stamped and his dad tried to save him but he died trying because of Simba he is the king of the lions .

Wonderful Sentences

I have been learning how to copy and paste from our class writing flip charts to share our learning. I know how to insert bullet points and use the highlighting tool.

We know that wonderful sentences need:

• detail (elaboration)
• capital letters and full stops
• Punctuation (, ! ? “ “)
• Quality vocab - WOW words

WALT recognise different parts of speech.

Nouns are naming words. eg. chair, book, July, Awhi

Adjectives describe nouns. Eg. wooden chair, writing book, freezing July, lovely Awhi

Verbs are doing words. Eg run, walk, jump, skip, chew

Adverbs describe verbs. Eg. briskly running, slowly walking, jumping high, skipping happily and chewing noisily.

Examples

1. The bird is angry .

2 .The bluey- blackish bird is very angry.

1.The cat is sad.

2. The black cat is sad because someone took the cats house.

Tuna Kuwharuwharu - Longfin Eel

This term we have been learning all about the longfin Eel. Our assembly item was based on the story Velvet and Elvis. This was a story about the migration journey that the longfin eel takes.

I have created 3 different digital learning objects (DLO) to share my learning on this topic.

The first is a poster that I created in my topic book about the challenges to the long fin eel. Whaea Deb took a photo and I inserted it.

I created a longfin Eel life cycle using google drawing.

I shared some interesting facts about the longfin eel on a google doc.

Rarangi Matahiko - Our Learning at Waitangi

Last Tuesday our class got to school early at  8.00 and we hop on the bus and we went to Waitangi  to do new learning. we saw Whaea Kerry Whaea Monika, they took us up stairs then we all saw some colourful beanbags. I was excited  and we took our shoes off then I saw the technology. We did numbers to 1 to 50 and we came six place.  We used the surface pros. I did paint 3D we made eels on paint 3D. We went to play a game called chain tag and the game was fun when we were on the field and and my eel was a wiggly eel in the water. I took a photo next to the green screen and we can do any thing and we did kahoot and and it was amazing we pack up to go on the bus back to school so we can get pack up from my mum and dad then I went home.

My Holiday

On the holiday we went to Tauranga to Pick up Jordan Truck then we got my tow Little Brothers a toy. we had my mums birthday there. we stayed in a motel and we went to- dinner for my mums birthday. The dinner was yummy. then we went in the pool to have a swim .It was worm water in the pool. the we hoot out of the and we gave my mum a fright when we said happy birthday and we cut the cake up she had a delicious rainbow cake with cream on it. Yummo!!!

Lara This is the day I was waiting for the Paparore School gala day!!! Then Chavelle she got some cash in her hand then she want to the backe for some ticket noooooooooooooooooooo!!!! It was cloud then I was there early then Chavelle she gave me some ticket so I can go on the Rock Climbing with aria and kaydee and I wun lots of time. Harley Davidsons it was loud and I like the best bluo one Harley Davidsons because it gos so and hath to hold on the man Food the Slushies, was really cold and the hot dog was really really hot. when I took a bite and we went to get some soty hot chip for me and my mum and dad. Bungee Jump up high because Chavelle told me to do a thut thip and I did a Dobi Whip and I did a back.

My legs were shaking, my heart was pumping as I started my show , the kelp came out of there places. Then they did their dance and they put there glasses on then they took their glasses off.  I loved my dance in our class assembly.
